Another crypto gamble - LTC to EOS
Hi all
This crypto market is a bit odd to me. I've traded stocks off and on for about 20 years, but I have am no expert, just a regular guy trying to get ahead a bit.
So the crypto currency market is a bit scary, but way more fun than stocks, and I've been able to buy more silver and gold than normal with the profits I've made!
Anyway, I decided to trade some LTC for EOS today, you see EOS was down 18% on the day and LTC traded pretty flat. I'm not sure if this was a good idea or not, for a quick flip, but I decided to make a gamble. I figured maybe I'd pickup a few %. In the short term.
So what's your take on a trade like this? Is anyone else flipping in and out of EOS for quick profit?
My plan is to hopefully end up with a bit more LTC in a couple days... Time will tell!

I HODL both...but I think we will continue to see a small pullback in EOS and then at somepoint in May, you will see a wave 5 pump into the launch. But if you are patient with some swings, I think you could double you LTC back.
I hodl Eos and have some LTC in cold storage as well, my hope is a relatively quick flip, as I've never traded off Eos yet, but I can see how well a guy would have done in the last few weeks! One more month to go for Eos worst case I'll hodl all of it!
The volume on EOS is getting huge which is a very good sign...its half of Bitcoin and number 2 on Coinmarketcap
It's even getting some "mainstream" attention lately. Mentioned with BTC on some financial channels. (Mainly RT and talk radio)

I have a small amount of both
But I think the crypto market is being manipulated and I’ve sold quite a bit of my holdings since November. Still have a good amount but I’ve taken a lot off the table
Its very smart to take profits off the table. I use my profits for silver and gold, and keep some in cash.

STOPI think LTC will have its day and then some as it is used in most ATM these days along with a few others and also accepted by a lot of online companies. EOS is looking good tho
I think you're right UB 😎. I use LTC for buying silver and at the ATM. It's probably my favorite crypto all around, but I'm thinking EOS for now may be a fast buck?
I don't know anything about cryptos but I traded in stocks, options and future markets for more than 30 years and the theory is similar. Every time two "similar" assets have a numerical behavior like LTC and EOS today, it is a good bet to do what you did. The chances are at your side. Let's see what happens in real life now.
Thanks Ron. That's the issue with cryptos! Real life kicks in at some point! My hope is to make a gain and buy some gold... We'll see!

Sound like a good idea to me.
I just went the other way when EOS was up. I got some ETH that was low and watied till it hit 700 and traded that for steem to fund Precious for May. It was fun. I just started doing this a few months ago.

good post..I 'll have..post up a bit later..(bitcoin) and the "dow"..first silver/gold......bitcoin acting precisely as the sell at 9750 indicated..but needs to hold "near" here. longer term higher...sentiment has to (and is) improving..
