EOS is truly special - Part 1

What token would remain frozen for going on two weeks without noise from the community?

I am gaining more and more respect for the EOS community. There are healthy discussions taking place on twitter, telegram, steem and even facebook. These range from block producers developing safe voting tools, vouching for each others tools and advising on the voting process to EOS42 massive effort in saving victims of phishing.

This afternoon Bitfinex set up a vote to determine whether to stake their EOS wallet on behalf of customers. This is in response to calls for exchanges to stake in order to speed up the mainnet launch. If successful Bitfinex have offered to vote for the top 30 based on a snapshot taken at the exact time the yes vote is achieved.

The community is working together to deliver a good solid and credible blockchain that has the full backing of all stakeholders.

It was refreshing to see @dan's role morph into one of an advisor and expert witness as the community took ownership of the process and the main chain. These are really different times, gone are the days of god-like status of creators of public goods utilising public money and ideas. The stand out moment for me was when the go/no go vote was streamed live in response to open communication and input from the general community.
