ABOUT US

We are EOS PH, a Block Producer Candidate from the Philippines, a politically independent nation at the nexus of Southeast and Northeast Asia. EOS PH is operated by LR Data Center and Solutions, Inc., a corporation with deep experience in serving regulated online gaming communities in Asia.

EOS PH has expertise in managed IT services, international internet protocol communications, bandwidth and traffic management, DDOS detection and mitigation, server hosting and equipment co-location, disaster recovery of management systems, as well as all of the finance and back office systems necessary to support these activities. We provide data center facilities with our own fiber connections to multiple landing stations, and we own capacity on seven submarine cables. Our team has knowledge on Philippine government regulations, understanding of public market expectations and experiences with providing IT and management services to legitimate gaming businesses, both in the Philippines and abroad.

We believe in frictionless borders and individual freedoms. Among the distributed ledger technologies we have researched, we believe EOS has the most potential to become a true “retail blockchain”. We will utilize our infrastructure and work to make that happen.

INFRASTRUCTURE

LR Data, operating EOS PH, has built an Asia-centric network infrastructure to serve the regulated gaming communities of Asia and Europe. EOS PH intends to leverage these infrastructure resources for block production. EOS PH block producer plans are based on the requirements critical to gaming, so the EOS PH infrastructure is certain of an agile, nimble, and secure posture.

LR Data has over a decade of experience building and operating its own end-to-end Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network connecting the Philippines to the rest of the world. EOS PH will have full and dedicated access to this infrastructure. We own or lease capacity on seven submarine cables and we own our private 160-kilometer underground fiber optic network connecting our data center and the submarine cable landing facilities. With major hubs in Hong Kong and Taiwan, we have a global footprint via Network-to-Network Interfaces (NNIs) with over a dozen TelCos.

Through our strategic cooperation, EOS PH will have full access to a data center in CEZA that is owned by a related party and be present in eight other data centers across Asia, providing fully-redundant infrastructure to hosted clients. EOS PH also has a cybersecurity suite that includes secure recursive DNS and anti-DDoS. EOS PH believes that the same success LR Data had in delivering services for online gaming can be translated to EOS.

Our team manages our own private cloud infrastructure, but the intent is to host the EOS PH block producer systems on dedicated, bare-metal servers. The servers will be custom configured to be scalable and robust. We prefer servers which can be optimized to suit block producer requirements. Procedures for regular and rapid EOS and operating system security updates will be in place from day one. Also, operations monitoring, and statistics gathering are full time and responses reported in real-time. This monitoring, and other trend analysis, ensure accurate predictions for timely hardware upgrades.

Our proposed base configuration for the block production server is

and we will adjust at launch, as requirements dictate.

Based on our team’s collective experience, inter-block-producer communications must be secured by private tunnels for both security and improved DDOS protection. Public network requests to block producer nodes should go through application-specific firewalls. Our block producer node operating system security will be hardened, audited, and monitored, and all security measures will take a “whitelist” posture.

Management

Mr. Enrique Gonzalez had the vision to create EOS PH. As our leader, he will capitalize on his regional contacts to further the adoption of EOS in SE Asia and he will take advantage of his deep investment banking roots to attract investments to the EOS ecosystem.

Edgardo A. Lopez

Operations

Responsible for day-to-day operations of EOS PH, Mr. Edgardo Lopez will ensure that EOS PH complies with all corporate guidelines of the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission and will rely on his deep relationships with key people in telecommunications, technology and gaming to help grow the social capital of EOS in the Philippines.

John M. Cornejo

Technology and Development

Mr. John Cornejo is responsible for overseeing the stability and resilience of EOS PH block production. He will lead the development of a talent pipeline for EOS in the Philippines and regional strategic partnerships to catalyze the adoption of EOS for retail use.

Clarisse M. Vera

Product

Ms. Clarisse Vera will oversee all project management for EOS PH block production activities. Her mandate includes leading the quality assurance, testing, and benchmarking for all EOS PH block producer assets. She will ensure accurate monitoring and timely reporting for all relevant metrics and trends.

Javier L. Benitez

Community

EOS PH takes our community ties and corporate social responsibility quite seriously. Mr. Javier Benitez is tasked with managing and maintaining the social presence of EOS PH. As well as liaise with the EOS Community and drive official communication and marketing channels for EOS PH, his most important task is to look after the communities where we live.

ROADMAP

VALUES

As a block producer, we will focus on the reliable production of blocks and the enforcement of rulings from arbitrators. EOS PH adheres to the framework of rules and systems that govern our duties and responsibilities to all our stakeholders which include the communities we operate in.

We believe that block producers should be elected based on criteria of merit and do not support, condone, or participate in “vote buying”.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

EOS PH believes EOS has the most potential to become a true “retail blockchain” and we plan to utilize excess tokens to fund education for the EOS blockchain network. We will work with schools and the Department of Education to develop curricula around blockchain technologies, delivered through our country's existing educational institutions. Our goal is to nurture talent and position the Philippines as a stronghold of blockchain expertise.

We advocate education through academic exchanges and programs created in conjunction with local institutions of higher learning:

• we are now in discussion with two top level technical universities to assist in the creation of Masters Degree programs in Distributed Ledger Technologies. The planned curriculum will be a cross-discipline endeavour touching on the fields of Economics, Finance, Game theory, Behavioral Economics, Cryptography, Digital Rights Management, Double and Triple Entry Accounting, Contract law, and Arbitration. Special emphasis will also be given to Computer Science (Software engineering, Database Design, Distributed Systems, and Network and System Security).

Under development:

• a scholarship to send select Filipino students to enroll in postgraduate degrees in Blockchain Development overseas. When these students successfully complete their studies, we will work with them to find jobs in which they can help spread the knowledge geometrically.
• a Hackathon in 2018 in Victorias City in Negros Occidental, and with others discussed for the cities of Silay and Bacolod in the future.
