EOS Dublin is led by Me, Sharif Bouktila. I’m a husband and father of two great kids who challenge me to get better each day. I have been thinking about, building and investing in technology businesses for the past 18 years, and have an honest and respectable ratio of success to failure.

I’m truly excited by EOSIO, it has the potential to be something which will last for generations, EOSIO has re-ignited a curiosity about what becomes possible when we merge technology, community and commitment.

To me the EOS Block Producers are akin to the janitor sweeping the floor in NASA “helping to put a man on the moon”.

We need to build and support the foundation upon which great things will be built.

We are currently announcing and campaigning under the EOS Dublin banner, as a block producer we will be operating as Block 353 an Irish Limited company.

EOS Dublin belongs to the EOS community and no one person should ever control it.

Business Model

We believe it is important for Block Producers to have transparent business models but also have a revenue and cost base to be able to support the EOS community for the long term.

Gross Profit (Revenue – Direct Costs) will be allocated as follows.

40% - Retained Capital (R&D / Capacity Growth)
40% - Investor Pool
20% - EOS Angel Fund

Block 353 will be a private company and while we see the need for ownership and control of the company to be visible and accountable to the EOS community we also recognise individuals right to privacy.

To solve this, we are offering up to 250 individuals the opportunity to invest and become an owner of Block 353 though an Investor Pool.

We believe that a diverse investor pool will give the company a strong base and also instil a culture of openness and accountability which will benefit the entire EOS community. Depending on interest our investor pool will own between 15-30% of Block 353.

EOS Votes

Block 353 will never pay for votes.

Our mission is to support and build EOS in a way that is honest and true, we believe that if we do that we will find enough supporters of our vision to win the trust of voters.

Inflation Target

At EOS levels below $12 we will be constant in our request for 3.5% inflation.

Should the price of EOS increase above that we will be requesting less and once our budgets have been finalised we will publish the formula which we use to calculate our inflation request.

EOS Angel

We have launched EOS Angel (www.eosangel.com) to directly invest and support start-ups with the potential to cause a Rukus. We are actively looking for business models who will leverage Air Drops on the EOS main net and hope to provide pipeline deal flow for VCs looking to invest in high potential start-ups on the EOS platform.

EOS Angel will be sponsoring the EOS hackathon across multiple Irish Locations in June, and will be offering seed capital to promising start-ups taking part.

We currently have a number dAPPs in various stages of development some new and some live centralised apps looking to move to the EOS platform.

We believe that where possible dAPPs should wait until the main net has been launched to perform any AirDrops.

Infrastructure

We have chosen the leading independent Irish Data centre to partner with on this project. Distributed over two locations in Ireland with Class leading technology, bandwidth and service.

We have the capacity and flexibility and to scale operations to support the EOS community.

We will be announcing more about our stack and setup in the coming weeks and are also looking to join other BPs on test nets over the coming weeks and months.
