We are the Bepal Blockchain Security team and have been working on blockchain technology and security research in the hope of creating a world-class blockchain security ecosystem.

Beijing, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore. In the early stages of testing the network and EOS, we will take into account the small load and block content and deploy the cloud server first.

Server hardware specifications

Regarding server hardware specifications, the following is our preliminary plan. Due to the complexity of the domestic network environment, apart from deploying super nodes in China, we will deploy super-node mirrors in three regions - Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. We aim to provide high-quality technical support to EOS through the cooperation of the super nodes in the four regions.  

Mining node

Primary node:    64-core processor, 512 Gb of memory, 2TB SSD storage, network bandwidth 1.0Gbps

Secondary node (spare node):   consistent with the primary node   

By deploying the primary and secondary mining nodes, we can upgrade the secondary node in seconds to be the primary mining node when the primary one becomes extremely unavailable to ensure the efficiency of the block removal is not affected.   

Full Node (Block Browser and API Service)

32-core processor, 256GB memory, 10TB SSD storage, network bandwidth 1.0Gbps

Run and synchronize EOS full nodes, deploy EOS block browser and open API interface for EOS developers to use and general user to conduct data query.

Storage (ipfs)

16-core processor, 128G memory, 10TB SSD storage, network bandwidth 1.0Gbps

The above server specifications and quantities will be purchased in four regions at the same time. The specifications of cloud computing service providers may vary, thus different configuration specifications will occur. However, we guarantee that the specifications listed above are the minimum hardware specifications of our architecture nodes. 

Server Expansion Plan:

Regarding the future planning of the node, we will select countries or regions suitable for data center construction based on the post-line development of EOS and local policies, contact local local data center service providers, purchase high-performance servers for hosting, and rent high-performance bandwidth resources and anti-attack tools data center. For data backup, we will still purchase cloud servers as backup servers to back up all node data. In situations where data is extremely unavailable, we can quickly switch channels to ensure uninterrupted service.

Team Concept:

Bepal has launched a number of personal asset management terminals and realised open source software layer. The next step is to gradually establish a blockchain security technology community from the field of digital currency secure storage and support EOS main network in a friendly manner, promote the development and application of EOS in China, and strive to build a fair and stable profit-free super node.
