Roadmap On Giving Back

EOS Canada has chosen the slogan “Leading Through Technology.” Our team is deeply rooted in technology creation, and we strive to share our skill set with the EOS blockchain user base. This is our roadmap of tools and information that we propose to offer to the EOS network.

As a Block Producer Candidate, we have a unique insight as to what it means to operate the EOS platform. If elected by the voters, we would be given the vote of confidence to act with the best interests of the chain first and foremost - a role we would not take lightly. As we would be in a unique position, we want to remind everyone that we serve you, the token holders.

Along with the BIOS orchestrator, we are also working on building many more tools for developers as well as Block Producers: specialized wallets, monitoring at the peer-to-peer network protocol level, latency-checking tools between Block Producers to optimize the handoffs, end-to-end distributed apps to learn more about the developer experience, high-availability strategies for Block Producers as well as tightened security around the Block Producer infrastructure (regarding key rotation, key management, and signing). We are also already working on an IPFS strategy for EOS, hoping to soon propose something that makes sense for large file storage.

We are well connected to large financial institutions here in Canada. Through our corporate network, we are looking to understand the challenges that these companies face, and design solutions for them using the EOS blockchain. The EOS platform unlocks many new and exciting possibilities that were too cumbersome and difficult to implement before.

For this project to become truly decentralized, the entities who operate the network have to prop each other up, rather than be in direct competition. The EOS blockchain belongs to its users, so we must give them the monitoring tools that they require to ensure their satisfaction with the work we are all doing.

EOS Canada wants to help create the educational materials that will be needed to educate all users who wish to monitor the health and security of this network. Rather than trying to earn your trust that we are working for you, let us show you.

We look forward to working alongside many Block Producers who wish to operate in this open and transparent manner. EOS Canada looks forward to listening to the community, and giving back what it asks for. EOS Canada looks forward to a transparent platform, where everyone is accountable to everyone else.
