What does EOS name really stands for?

in #eos7 years ago (edited)

If you were working on the creation of the first decentralized operating system, what would be the best name for it?

I would think of D.O.S. but if you have been around for a while those initials are already taken by some other rather famous operating system, the Disk Operating System.

So what would have DOS done if the letter D was already taken? Simply assign the next available letter... in this case "E".

There you go... E. O. S.

PD: This is just a little guess, not any official definition, I think the only person that could confirm or dismiss this theory is Dan himself, but he is working on some more important stuff... like "Decentralizing Everything"

Sort:

Nice guess, never seen that one before. 'Ethereum On Steroids' is still my favorite one.

So much for fairness and equality I guess were all equal in less were American or Chinese , I thought the whole idea with this block chain was furnace and equality for all people know matter where you come from what religion you are what sex equality for all and privacy in a D centralized system and less you’re an American or Chinese doesn’t quite seem fair and equal to me just saying
