Hello Cypherglass community faithful. It’s been a great week for Cypherglass and EOS. The price of EOS tokens is up 50% in the last seven days, and leads all of the large cap coins and most of the top 100. God bless the EOS HODLRs! If you are reading this you are probably one of them. It might be early to start speccing out the type of leather you want in your Veneno Roadster, but at least you’ll be able to afford that oil change you’ve been putting off for your Prius.

We have been shifting back and forth between 25 and 26 in the block producer rankings, and as always are thankful to you the token holder for your unwavering support. Our community team is working hard to get the Cypherglass word out, and we are optimistic that our block hungry infrastructure gear will be feasting soon.

Here’s what’s going on in the Cypherglass world…

• We met this week with on of our favorite EOS teams about collaborating on a wholesale expansion of Glass capabilities and scope. Stay tuned for an announcement and be ready to help support another great EOS team.

• EOSIO version 1.6.2. Was released and we are testing it in our lab.

• VMware 6.7 updates will begin in production this week. We are looking forward to the added Ubuntu 18 support.

• We are making progress with our plans to change our entire infrastructure over from Ubuntu 16 to Ubuntu 18.

• We’ve begun testing of EOSIO version 1.7.0-RC1. Getting it and it’s dependencies to compile has been problematic However it seems to be running well in our lab now. Check out the details on the version here… https://github.com/EOSIO/eos/releases

• We were able to get the first run of the state-history with a Postgres backend running in our lab. It’s running, but seems to require a full replay to populate state-history data files in NodeOS. Unfortunately some known bugs seem to prevent a full replay at this time. We are continuing to work on it as the ability to connect a normal SQL database to pull chain data adds a lot of real-world value.

We are looking into making some changes on the way we do DDoS protection.
Old man winter is making his last stand here in North America. We are optimistic that with his departure he will take crypto winter with him. We work for you the community, so please feel free to contact us via your favorite medium and let us know what we can do better. Have a wonderful week and go EOS!
