This Week at Cypherglass - Infrastructure Team Update - December 6th, 2018

It’s been an interesting week in the EOS world, and in the greater crypto world in general. The sub $2.50 price of EOS is not doing the block producers any favors, and none of us token holders are happy about it. We dropped this week in the block producer rankings from #27 to #31. Having said all that, our faith in the EOS technology and community has not wavered. We are confident that the bear market will eventually reverse, and therefore we continue to build and maintain the best EOS infrastructure on the planet. Let’s see what’s happening...

• We made a few aesthetic tweaks to the website. It’s looking better than ever so feel free to check it out here… https://www.cypherglass.com/

• Increased the disk size on a couple of our proxy nodes to 2 terabytes to make them happy again.

• Approved the EOSIO.FORUM creation and setup proposal. • Set up a test in our lab to take snapshots using LVM (logical volume). This will hopefully reduce our time to recover from future problems.

• We started evaluating EOSIO v.1.5.0. We were especially excited about the [ALPHA] State History Plugin. We are anxious to test it and see if it can replace the deprecated History Plugin which has turned out to be unmaintainable for the whole community of BPs.
