CIGEOS Block Producer Report

HELLO! We are a new Block Producer candidate from Taiwan, and we are pleased to make a self-introduction to all of you.

Founded in Dec 2017, we are committed to maintaining EOS network stability, promoting EOS ecological prosperity, and incubating EOS-based projects.

Stefan Ma

A post 90s generation block-chain entrepreneur, the founder of CIG(Coins In Guideline). Having created his own community which has thousands of active members, his contribution in blockchain education was highly regarded and sponsored by the pioneers.

Tony Shen

Investor of Bitcoin, Ethereum and EOS in very early stages. Involved in the development of a mining software, and runs a community project called Bigleek. Also is the co-founder of the Blockchain Media CIG.

Grant Wang

A software engineer with years of experience in C / C++ / Objective-C programming. Very familiar with Bitcoin, Ethereum and EOS project and source code. Fan of DPOS. Have a deep understanding in blockchain mechanism.

Crystal Zhang

An expert in media operation. Joint initiator and columnist of Jinse Finance (the best known blockchain media and the largest knowledge sharing platform in China) and Igetget. Also the founder of a self-actualization reading society in Beijing.

Ashley Zhou

Co-Founder of many blockchain communities. Executive director of a famous brokerage in China. CFA level-3 candidate and the champion of the 9th Taiwan ATCC competition. Been broadcasting blockchain and cryptocurrencies knowledges to the society through media and columns for a long time.

Tom Zhao

Former CEO of CoinDaily. A mature investor of cryptocurrency with years of working experiment in the industry. With his resourceful network in blockchain community, he arranged a variety of long term partnerships with exchanges and blockchain medias in both China and overseas.

Titan Lin

As a software engineer over ten years, Lin is highly-experienced in developing software systems. And a researcher of Bitcoin in very early stage.

Yi Dai

Former COO of GXS project.

Jason Ren

An expert in programming with years of commendable experience in Java / PHP / Python developing. Also a Taoism participant.

Haoran Hu

Professional Android developer who has successfully developed two applications for blockchain, and using them in community studying & communicating.

Alibaba Senior Engineer, master degree from Grande Ecole in France, expertise in mobile development, enthusiastic in new technologies.

We have prepared solutions to different cases, regarding the stages and changing demands.
In testnet and early stages when block is small and load pressure is still low, we adopt the cloud based server approach:

There are two nodes.

One for livenet and another for standby.

Hardware standard: 16 Cores; 256G RAM; 1T SSD Hard Drive

1.Hardware with higher-performance : 20 cores+ CPU, 512GB+ RAM, etc.
2.Architecture with better stability : More addresses, load balance.
3.More operations engineers : At least 3 experienced Devops, full time.

As the only candidate in Taiwan at present, we are willing to take the lead in promoting EOSIO in this area.

We plan to promote EOS in Taiwan & Mainland China,include:
Translation Project (EOS contents to traditonal Chinese & simplified Chinese)
EOSIO Introduction meetings

Our long-term plan is partnering with initiatives that support software entrepreneurs, and plug into the emerging parts of the EOS community which are already seeking out and identifying strong project and teams.

We also have a few of our own projects in mind, including one which would incentivize SaaS businesses to the EOS eco-system. We're really excited about the potential here. In fact, we've been talking about this since before we decided to launch our BP candidacy.

In the meantime, we plan to develop our own Dapp and make our own efforts for the landing of the project.
