Yeah it was worth it for sure! It was a great experience! I would really like to go back to Australia sooner than later!

I am really excited about a steemit 2.0 with EOS, it is interesting what will come out but surely it will be positive for the current steemian users. @brianphobos
It will be interesting what the interface will be. I think for current Steemians we will all go over there as well and already know people on that platform so we can cluster up and earn both places. I think that will be one big advantage of us already being on here.

Yeah it was a really cool trip overall! I wish I had a DSLR to snap pictures of that waterfall / rainbow. It got partially pixilated at the bigger sizes.
Still turned out well though :)

Question for you: do you think trybe has potential to compete with Steemit in the future midterm?
I just don't know if Trybe will have the resources to really compete. Plus right now their interface isn't what I would consider a good design because I'm seeing a lot of Times New Roman fonts utilized and subconsciously it is tough to make a Serif font look good on the web.
There are other things about the design that I question and the branding is questionable as well because there is another platform called Trybe out there so that can become confusing.
Personally I think there will be a lot of platforms that wont' have the proper funding and support behind them that may or may not make it.
I think the one with the most chance will be whatever Block One is working on because they have a whole team of developers very familiar with the EOSIO software and they have the resources to keep developing. But the governance model might be screwed up with it. It is hard to say.
That was my impression as well.
I have the feeling that the replication of steemit is very difficult.

KARMA might have a better chance but I don't know what kind of backing they have. ONO as well but I'm not really sure. I get mixed signals from that project as well.
It just takes so much funding and development to do it.
