FOMO is a MOFO #EOS ... What am i missing
I have officially committed not to jump into EOS right now. The FOMO is insane.
Is the platform awesome, absolutely yes and the CEO is incredible so this should be a solid investment right?
I just cant get over the 1 billion token supply
Looking at coinmarketcap.com i compared coins with a token supply between 500ML and 2BLN and this is what i came up with:
COIN NAME CURRENT PRICE COIN SUPPLY
89 Burst $0.015696 -- 1,798,756,902
75 BitBay $0.034853 --1,007,583,940
40 Basic Attention Token $0.132983 --1,000,000,000
39 Nxt $0.141461 -- 998,999,983
33 Ardor $0.193866 -- 998,999,495
61 Round $0.055503 -- 850,000,000
15 Golem $0.466251 -- 833,032,000
44 SingularDTV $0.189027 -- 600,000,000
49 SysCoin SysCoin $0.162509 -- 525,875,638
EOS - $4.27680 -- 1,000,000,000
So yea, at $4.27 for the ERC20 token, i think i will pass on this one.
Feedback is always welcomed here.
You didn't miss anything...except a ton of profit from the Day 1 to 5 ICO...since then it's just on a downward trajectory. I can't imagine it'll do anything but decline from here....still a year to go!
Unbelievable ICO. I personal think it's over price.
haha i think everyone is feeling it a bit, wait for the crash :)
Yes. I just hate to see people lose CRAZY amounts of money cause usually its the little guys that dont have that kind of money to lose and end up getting sucked into the FOMO. hence the title of this post
FOMO is a MOFO
There will probably be days with less hype. @Dan has this all figured out.
Hey Bill, youre doing great, i dont know how you gained so many followers in such short time, anyway im new here, willing to learn. i have followed you, looking farward to learning from guys like you!
I think it really depends on what it could replace. Consider 42 billions is not a big number for industry like internet.
Well when i look at a coin like RIPPLE which has 38BLN token supply and they have been steady around $0.27 and they are now backed by 80 banks including, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, Santander, plus has a seat on the Fed Reserve and getting ready to launch a project with MasterCard for micro cross-border payments.
EOS is not even going to launch anytime soon, seems like a overvalued dark project right now.
