Concerns about EOS?!
Hey everyone,
I was wondering why there are concerns about @eosio, their ICO and why people call @dantheman and his idea a scam!
I read it a few times now and I can't figure out, what makes people think that.
Is it because @eosio is collecting Ether big-time during the ICO and could build up a comfortable position, once Ethereum changes to proof-of-stake?
Or is it because it's sort of unclear whether the EOS Tokens are of any worth on the new blockchain, once the ICO ended?
I mean I do understand, why people are careful, but calling it a scam sounds a bit harsh, doesn't it?
I think that people are very leery about ICO's in general and especially in this case because the long time that it will go on. The second thing are the terms and conditions. IMO they want to beware of any difficulties with the law. To me it seems very clear that when i invest in a project, that everything can happen. But there are people how wants to blame the project if something does happens what leads to a loose of money.
Its only natural in crypto you call everything you didnt invest in a scam or a ponzi because of FUD :) Now I sold my btc I also think its a Ponzi :)
Im long in EOS so I think its a great project !
Most concerns come from tech-illiterate communities such as from centralized onecoin or ethereum scammers where no innovation happens. They are not used to concepts like blockchains and decentralization.

Even the dev who literally stole money via unpopular hard fork, Vitalik, made comments with almost no understanding of the tech he was talking about as expected.

They aren't used to ICO's designed to avoid centralized distribution or that block.one will not launch the chain themselves bc it's supposed to be decentralized or that token distribution might be used for several chains: http://imgur.com/a/7lx34
Harsh indeed....It's slander, really.
