With the recent developments of the Kilauea volcano eruption in Hawaii, we at Aloha EOS want to take a moment to share our charity contribution plans.

At the time of this posting, lava flows have wiped out at least 50 homes and structures on Hawaii Island and the flows are continuing to expand, threatening more homes and leaving many residents without a place to live.
At Aloha EOS we believe in giving back to both the local Hawaii community as well as the online EOS community. For the first 60 days of block producing operation, we will be donating 10% of all post-expense operating profits to the Hawai’i Life Charitable Fund, which will serve disaster-stricken islanders such as those who have lost their homes in the ongoing volcanic eruptions.
Additionally, on an ongoing basis after the first 60 days, we will be donating 10% of all post-expense operating profits to similar needy non-profit organizations. For example, the Hawaii Foodbank which serves one in five islanders, or a more expansive charity such as the American Red Cross.
We plan to be fully transparent with our donations and hope to provide a measurable positive impact to our local and online communities.
