The news on the web
I have been using Coinbase for a while and I’m always excited whenever the platform introduces new services and options.
On Reddit I saw the article Coinbase Lists EOS Despite Possibly Being an Unregistered Security and immediately went to check it out. I have some EOS (please don’t judge me) so this news was certainly of interest to me.
Sadly the article was completely misleading. Mostly focused on how EOS is bad news as a project in general and, the uncertainty of what regulations will do to seal its fate.
Regardless of the validity of the arguments expressed in the article, the news is not actually true. EOS has been added only to Coinbase Pro but only for deposits and not for trading (at the moment of writing).
I believe that crytocurrency projects have the opportunity to generate a lot of wealth that can reach a wider range of people than ever before. Here's a link to an interesting crypto project Bitcoin Hex
