How to EASILY buy EOS using your extra Steem or SBD with Blocktrades.us + Exodus Wallet(with Shapeshift.io built in) just a few clicks away to hodling the dankest crypto in the world! EOS WILL make you rich, its a promise.
So i have been talking about how we should all have at least a few EOS tokens because they are still $1 to $2 each (around $1.77 while im writing this) and I am not trying to simply double or triple your money but help you make up for all the ICOs and coins you never got to make money off!
I know that if I feel sometimes afraid and intimidated to use these cryptocurrencies wallets and programs especially if I haven't used them before, it can be daunting and you put these things off and before long you end up loosing out on an opportunity you could have easily profited from!
So first make sure you have the Exodus allet installed, this is a great PC multi wallet for youre computer which will have EOS , Bitcoin, Ethereum, litecoin and several others. https://www.exodus.io/
Make sure you have the program installed and have your Litecoin Wallet Address ready. Here is where you click to get to youre litecoin address!
So here would be my Litecoin Address for my Exodus Wallet Li9ANC4Vw5BGsg55PdXUXpNwTWsHqPnZWu which I copied from the program as shown above. This is all you'll need once you get to Blocktrades.us in the next step to sell your Steem or SBD :) It's very easy from here, that was pretty much the hard part! Oh and did I even mention that you already have your EOS wallet now? yeah it's going to be very easy and fun!
So if you have some SBD or Steem ready, just send it to an exchange of your choice, i will be using @bittrx but you can use blocktrades.us and keep it simple, just go to your wallet and click on your steem or SBD and hit "sell" like this
any exchange that can give you litecoin or ethereum or bitcoin, because for speed and cost saving purposes we will be selling our steem or SBD for Litecoin to send to Exodus as it will have lower transaction fees than bitcoin and it will be faster!
Here is the next page you'll be taken to, blocktrades.us where you'll be converting SBD (or steem) to Litcoin (BTC will cost more and bitcoin will be cheaper! ) But below youll see what it will look like....
So above you can see how simple blocktrades is, you simply select litecoin on the right, add youre litecoin address (which i showed how to get above, it should be copied) and now you can simply click "get Deposit Address" and youll get this message like mine here
So if youre familiar with sending steem to an exchange this will be easy for you, if this is your first time its easy, you now go send your steem or SBD (whatever was selected) and use that memo they give you, and paste into the space fopr "memo" when your sending steem or SBD

And we'll convert it to LTC and send it to the receive address you gave us above.
You can deposit any amount up to the suggested deposit limit, and you can use this address as many times as you like. Each time, we will convert the amount at the current conversion rate at the time the transaction is fully confirmed on the Steem network."
So now you go back to your steemit wallet, click on your SBD 9or steem) and click "Transfer" like this
which takes us to the transfer screen, and you place that memo blocktrades just gave you, into the memo field, and the word Blocktrades into the recipient space....So I would use this memo 757cb53f-156d-46c9-b59a-f51f7f9e2e42 i got for my example trade and I would use it like this...
And click send and now Bloicktrades will automatically recieve the SBD 9or steem) and it takes about 2 minutes, and then you'll see and hear the litecoin show up in your Exodus Wallet and now you just have to use the very simple built in exchange by shapeshift inside Exodus!
The next step is the easiest step, you just click "Exchange" and go select your litcoin and on thr right select EOS and click exchange and thats it!
You now have EOS! And if you already had an Exodus Wallet with any coins in it at all you will be able to do the same thing with any coin that Exodus supports, which is Aragon, Augur, Bitcoin Dash, Decred, Eos, Ethereum, Gnosis, Golem, and Litcoin (Interesting how they all begin with letters at the beginning of the alphabet)
and that's all you have to do in order to get your very own EOS in Exodus Wallet! Now just Hodl and in 6 months they'll ach be worth $100 to $300 and in one year they'll be over $1000 and youll have your very own Crypto Nest Egg and a source of money to purchase steempower with!
Now in order to move this EOS around, you will need to have at least 0.005 ETH in your exodus wallet as the EOS token is an EC20 ethereum token which requires "Gas" to move, and so its lame but you'll have to keep a dollar or two of ethereum in this wallet if you want to be able to remove that EOS, same goes for any Ec20 token and honestly you won't need to remove this EOS if you're planning on holding onto it which you should, you're going to be selling this maybe next year once it really goes past $100 each or even $1000 each so it will be up to you on when you want to sell it and the longer you wait the more money you'll make!
Before you know it you'll be wanting this unrelated EOS brand Money Clip!
(Oh but when you can, make sure you do the backup procedure in your Exodus allet, down in the bottom left you'll see the program ask you to go through the Backup steps, simply adding a password and then copying down a 12 word code, this is your private key and simply make sure you keep two copies somewhere on paper, print them out, or write them down, keep in a plastic bag in two places to avoid fire or water damage, seriously this will be all you need (plus the password you set) to recover your exodus wallet even if you loose this computer Exodus wallet is installed on! your EOS tokens will be safe and when they are worth $1000 each next year youll be able to sell them right in this Exodus wallet for bitcoin and cash out or buy steem and stempower with them!

PS: If you need a Mobile Android version of EOS wallet and cannot use EXODUS wallet because you dont have a desktop or laptop computer, you can just use the Free Wallet EOS wallet on Android Google playstore and you can use Shapeshift.io website instead of using the built in shapeshift feature inside exodus walet...and just use shapeshift.io to exchange those litcoins or bitcoins for EOS and haveit sent tyo your new EOS walet on your android device with the free walet app, just replace Exodus with the freewallet app and use shapeshift website instead of using the built in service.
Eventually Jaxx wallet will just have EOS and Jaxx also has the built in shapeshift exchange feature. But until then, if you cant use Exodus wallet, just replace the exodus wallet EOS wallet steps with the free wallet android app, get your EOS receiving address from this free wallet app instead....and have your blocktrades.us exchange send litecoins to your shapeshift.io exchange page. Try to figure this out on your own and if you cant you can call me and i will walk you through it, (text me first for the love of God, nothing makes someone more anxious than a cal from a number you've never seen before, at least text me first so I know who it is and that you just need some cryptocurrency help!)

I am a minnow that hasn't installed a wallet nor joined an blockchain exchange, and I'm not a speculator.
With too small an amount of SBD I have focused on putting it all into steem power.
Perhaps as a 3 month steemit celebratory gift I'll get the exodus wallet, but your next step (the litecoin) threw me for a loop.
Why Litecoin?
You made the jump that we have or should have litecoin?
The only thing I have is SBD - thus if that (SBD) is the gateway-drug to EOS - then am I correct in considering how much SBDs I will need to buy Ethereum then use Ethereum to buy EOS?
I say Ethereum only because I do not know about the cryptocurrencies and see that Ethereum blockchain is hosting the EOS and this seems to me to be the most direct path - what do you think?
I think he meant that if you want to get cheaper, fees you should buy litecoins and then turn them into EOS.
@jonsnow1983 why do you think it's less fees, will you post the fee comparison list?
At these small amounts I did not think the fees would differ significantly, so I didn't consider that.
litecoin fee is going to be a few pennies orless negligable, bitcoin fee right now may be 10 to 20 cents top 40 cents who knows it caries but it was around $1 to $2 so to avoid that, just use litecoi, and i didnt make a jump to litecoin, i clearly stated that you choose litecin in blocktrades and with exodus wallet you get a litecoin wallet, do you see that? its easy! you can use Bitcoin if you want......but i assumed that was a given
If SBD or stem was supported by Exodus that would make the litecoin unnecessary...
Also i will send you EOS of you send me SBD, ill be happy to do this step for you when i have the tuime, but youd be better off just doing it yourself

Ok so back to the idea, we need a Bot that lets you send it SBD with your EOS address (from the Exodus wallet for example) and the bot on steemit just takes whatever SBD you give it, and sends you EOS! (Maybe it can automatically send the SBD to shapeshift.io and get EOS and have it sent to the address in the memo i believeit will be pretty simple and take someone just a week or so to make or figure out!
I'll keep this short, simple, and following the chronology of your @ackza reply to me:
my virgin wallet eyes didn't see it - it is all a foreign language to me - I should simply get hands on exp. after installing the exodus wallet on my PC.
I'm not interested in the other cryptocurrencies so if I must use Litecoin okay - I had guessed wrong about getting Ethereum to get EOS - again my virgin wallet eyes didn't see it.
I like the idea for a bot for SBD/EOS trades - hopefully you will get some feedback on that awesome idea - Thank you for the reply, Cheers!
Oh no you didnt guss wrong, you shoul use ethereum to get EOS thats fine, use ethereum instead of litcoin. I only chose litcoin because its cheaper and faster but ethereum will be fine and actualy i have notcied Bitcoin speeds are very fast nwo AND very cheao like trssnaction fees as low as 30 cents so i mean, olitecoin should be cheper tho, eh, its uop to you!
u can just send ethereum to your exodus wallet, and exchange that to EOS to, exodus will let u exchange any coin to EOS that Exous supports about 8 of t em i belive
So yah if u hav some ethereum already, just send it to your Exodus ethereum wallet address, and then u have everythiung u need to go to that "exchange" button and select the etehreum and EOS to exchange for, click the button,m ur good!!
Litecoin because Blocktrades.us does not have EOS yet :) if Blocktrades.us has EOS or if poloniex or bittrex had EOS you could just use those! since exodus wallet needs a coin and bitcoin can have $1 or more sometimes as transaction fees, i thoight id side step it completely and just use litecoin to garuntee a cheap and fast method of sending money to your Exodus Wallet WHICh has litecoin built in so like i said in the beginning u need exodus wallet to do this method as its all about hwo exodus wallet has EOS built in which makes this all possibkle! shapeshift,io is also the built in exchange and so it makes it SO easy!

also GFbnosis is sp expensove now, i renember Polonioex addd Gnosis and since then they havent added any coins while bittrex has added dozens and dozens of new coins, i dunno why poloniex hgasnt aded any new coins, i bet poloniex will add something like EOS and that coin will jusyt go up like crazy any coin added to poloniex will go up up up i think Gnosis is only going up cuz of poloniex

But how do you claim tokens? Is it straight -forward? or you still need the EOS interface to claim them before you actually have the tokens for real
EOS interface? well dont worry about claiming the actual EOS tokens later on, its not even out yet, all u can really dio is stack up these EOS ec20 tokens, and they wol be redeemable for EOS later on
if ur talking aboyt claiming the money from the EOS ytokens, u will be able to sell thjem back for bitcoin or any coin u want at any time on Exocus,
When EOS comes out youl be able tio use these Ethereum EC20 EOS tokens to exchange for the working EOS tokens or maybe these wil be the reak tokens
