Interesting talk. I am not much of a fan of the UBI concept and a big part of that is the Universal part. I hate the idea of governments taxing us just to give us a UBI back.

I think the bigger implementation challenge for EOS is to get Worker Proposals functioning and then URI (or whatever you call it) can fit within that. I don't have a problem in principle with giving all accounts the ability to use the network (via grant or subsidy) but there are other things that need to get done for token holders and users benefit which could be paid for with the allocated 4% inflation.
