EON CHANGING THE FACE OF GAMING

             INTRODUCTION

It is not new to the world again that gaming is a very lucrative business. As there are many big Asians companies who are specialist in creating animations and comics. In the year 2017 the global game market revenue reaches 116 billion US dollars. This days a lot of people all across the world pay to play games in either some big game house or rent gaming disc. Example of games that have been created that make huge waves in the gaming world is Xbox, Nintendo, Play Station 1, Play Station 2 , Play Station 3 and many more. All this games gain good attention from media houses, newspapers, new media, social medias. This games or gaming software get attention because of their uniqueness and because they use good graphics and other media assets to gain huge attention from the world. Gaming will continue to grow in the traditional media and entertainment, because of the excitement and happy mood people get from playing games. Gaming generate far more revenue than other sports, as revenues from console gaming is around 10 billion dollars this year while that of PC gaming system and others are estimated to be 23 billion dollars in total. Gaming industry is growing very fast with a huge market size and most gaming companies are putting better technologies in place to make gaming better than what it use to be.

There are lot of games now on smartphones, PC and also virtual reality headset where one need to take complete control of a game.

PROBLEMS AND OPPORTUNITIES

Games developers spend more than 52% of there revenue on marketing on ads on platform like Facebook, google e.t.c. Big companies partnering with a game can attract people's attention. And at times a small game studio will abandon a good game they have created because they don't have the capital needed to attract players. In order to solve this problems the EON platform, will initiate EON Foundation to support and also to promote EON platform.

EON PLATFORM

This will be a decentralized platform where players can connect with each other through blockchain technology and play games. Also on this platform players will be able to discover, share and as well social with other gamers. This platform is powered with blockchain technologies because it is more efficient, trustworthy and people from all over the can easily have access to it. EON token is created to grow EON platform and it is also with economic incentives mechanism to reward those who will help to grow EON platform.

BLOCKCHAIN AND GAMING

There have been lot of blockchain games and more will still come as times goes on. CryptoKiddies is the first blockchain game most people played on blockchain. The history of blockchain and gaming started in February of 2014 when Huntercoin was released. Now it's easier than before for developers to build a decentralized app on ethereum contract. Since the release of ethereum in July 2015, many blockchain games have been created. Since blockchain is trusted, free and people can easily access it from anywhere in the world , this really increase the efficiency of digital assets exchange among games players.
