Burger King to debut compostable straws in UK restaurants
Burger King will replace its plastic straws in the UK with compostable straws, reducing plastic output by 29 metric tons annually in the process. Meanwhile, Burger King plans to ensure that all of its packaging is recyclable, compostable or biodegradable by 2025.
I don't see why they can't just go to no straws. Did the general poplulation forget how to drink out of a cup? I don't think so.
