Environmental pollution in the last years

I wash my mask. Regularly.

Here, I confess this sin of mine, this crime. Against the poor participants in the trade of plastic products. Because what has the two-year crisis so far been, if not sponsorship to poor pharmaceutical companies, plastic manufacturers and the chemical industry?

Just before all this started, Bulgaria announced that it was suspending the sale of some disposable plastic products, such as straws or plastic saucers and cups.
Oh, you may be surprised, but I know people who still can't imagine their lives or the world at all, without the regular plastic coffee cups from the vending machine - several times a day or without all the other possible plastic products for disposable. You use, throw and run - what more does a person need (ok, this can be considered in many aspects of life 🙃).

Anyway. This was announced, and shortly after, the masks were introduced. Then the tests were introduced.

For a long time I wondered why it was not talked about - one plastic has been replaced by another.
Masks are now scattered everywhere. You can't imagine in what amazing places you can find scattered masks (as far as the human foot could reach - the foot of that unreasonable creature with a missing brain that I told you about recently)

And the tests - do you know what happens to them? How many thousands are thrown away a day in one country alone? I don't even want to think about it now that I've seen what happens to masks.

So, I wash my mask.
I put it in a special net that protects it during washing. And I take care of it. Because I do not intend to buy masks every day - to buy and throw, as I am expected to do, as every person on earth is expected to do.

Now you will say that this is unhygienic. Even months ago, a joke on this occasion was very popular in Bulgaria. It read: a nation that survives the fourth wave of the virus with the mask of the first wave will not be destroyed. Well, that's sarcastic and it's meant to be offensive.
It is intended mainly for those people who do not even wash their masks. And also for those who are not vaccinated, emphasizing that the majority of the population here is very stupid, since the vaccination rate in this country is so low...

But I do not want to be part of the deliberate destruction of the planet. And that's the least I can do.
