First steps towards a transformation of the paper industry

Quite recently (July 2019), the Finish provider of renewable packaging, biomaterials, wooden constructions and paper, Stora Enso, announced to invest 10 Million EUR into the research of lignin based carbon materials for energy storage.

The economic and environmental trends here are coherent (both positive) which is unfortunately still seldom.
However, it is extremely important to evaluate such undertakings positively!
