I already wrote a lot about recycling and our environment. Here are a few facts and figures about recycling that you certainly did not know!
FAZ
- ... that a pastic bottle needs 1000 years to rot?
- ... that a Styrofoam cup needs 5000 years to rot?
- ... that every recycled aluminum box saves so much energy that a 60 watt bulb can be lit for 26 hours?
- ... that recycling a ton of paper saves 17 trees and saves enough energy to heat a household for 6 months?
- ... that every single citizen produces 450 kilos of waste per year? (1.2 kilos per day)
- ... that 32% of our household waste consists of recyclables?
- ... that so-called "bottle schools" are built in Guatemala, each consisting of 6,500 plastic bottles.
- ... that in 2010, 6 sailors sailed on a boat out of 12,500 plastic bottles, 12,875 kilometers from San Francisco to Sydney to catch the fouling of the oceans?
- ... that there are more plastic flamingos in the US than real flamingos?
- ... that in Europe only 7 out of 100 plastic bags are recycled

- ...dass eine Pastikflasche 1000 Jahre brauch um zu verrotten?
- ...dass ein Styroporbecher 5000 Jahre brauch um zu verrotten?
- ...dass mit jeder recycelten Aluminiumdose soviel Energie eingespart wird, dass eine 60 Watt Glühbirne 26 Stunden zum Leuchten gebracht werden kann?
- ...dass mit dem Recycling einer Tonne Papier 17 Bäume gerettet werden und so viel Energie eingespart wird, mit dem man einen Haushalt 6 Monate lang beheizen kann?
- ...dass jeder einzelne Bürger 450 Kilo Müll im Jahr Produziert? (1,2 Kilo pro Tag)
- ...dass 32% unseres Hausmülls aus Wertstoffen besteht?

Ach ja, und es heißt "braucht", denn es ist ja nicht der Brauch.
Oder bin ich nur zu "aufkerksam" ;-)

Stimmt, beim näheren hinsehen... hatte Stress deswegen hab ich es nicht durchgelesen. Aber Fehler sind da um gemacht zu werden, und menschlich!
Ist ja auch nicht schlimm. Ist mir nur aufgefallen, und ich war eher schlecht in deutsch. Aber ich mache gerne drauf aufmerksam solange man es noch ändern kann, sonst steht es für IMMER in der Blockchain. ;-)
