A wonderful good evening dear Steemians!
Today during a tour of my company I saw our glass that we collect to recycle. As I am always looking for alternatives to plastic, wood, paper, etc ... I would like to give you today a good alternative to plastic, namely glass.
Why glass?
Glass is excellent Recyclable! For example, glass can be melted down as often as desired and returned to new products. What's also very good, recycled glass requires less energy than new glass to produce. The energy requirement drops by about 0.2 - 0.3 percent. The recycling of waste glass protects the climate and saves raw materials needed for the new production.

Did you actually know that ...
- ... glass bottles become lighter and lighter. For example, beer bottles have become two-thirds lighter since 1955
- ... a reusable glass bottle can be refilled up to 50 times?
- ... with one kilogram of raw material 5 times more glass bottles can be produced than in 1955?
- ... Glass recycling Conserving resources and energy?
- ... glass recycling saves approx. 67.5 billion kilojoules of energy per year compared with new production?
- ... the CO² emission has fallen by 18.4% between 1990 and 2004 due to energy savings?
- ... about 40% of all drinks are bottled?
Take the next time but just a glass, instead of plastic bottle when you get something to drink, you may not notice it but the world will thank you!

Einen wunderschönen guten abend liebe Steemians!
Heute bei einen Rundgang in meiner Firma sah ich unser Glas, dass wir sammeln um zu recyceln. Da ich immer wieder auf der Suche nach alternativen zu Plastic, Holz, Papier usw... bin, möchte ich euch heute eine gute Alternative zu Plastik geben, und zwar Glas.
Warum Glas?
Glas ist hervorragend Recycelbar! Glas lässt sich zum Beispiel beliebig oft wieder einschmelzen und zu neuen Produkten zurückgeführt werden. Was auch sehr gut ist, recyceltes Glas benötigt weniger Energie als neues Glas zu produzieren. Der Energiebedarf sinkt um etwa 0,2 - 0,3 Prozent. Das recyceln von Altglas schützt das Klima und spart Rohstoffe die für die Neuherstellung benötigt werden.

Wussten Sie eigentlich, dass...
- ...Glasflaschen immer leichter werden. Bierflaschen zum Beispiel sind seit 1955 um zwei Drittel leichter geworden
- ... eine Mehrweg Glasflasche bis zu 50 Mal wiederbefüllt werden kann?
- ... mit einem Kilo Rohstoff 5 Mal mehr Glasflaschen hergstellt werden können als noch 1955?
- ... Glasrecycling Ressourcen und Energie schont?

Nehmt euch das nächste mal doch einfach eine Glas, anstatt Plastikflasche wenn ihr euch etwas zu trinken holt, ihr werdet es vielleicht nicht merken doch die Unwelt wird es euch danken!
Hoffe der eine oder andere greift in Zukunft auch zur Flasche... Ähm... Glasflsche natürlich!!!
