Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt Resigns.

Pruitt was a former Oklahoma Attorney-General that had very close to ties to the oil and gas industry, Pruitt had in fact previously filed more than a dozen lawsuits against the EPA. His time as head of the EPA was spent relentlessly eliminating environmental regulations that aimed to reduce toxic pollution and planet-warming carbon emissions. Trump after accepting his resignation said that “Scott has done and outstanding job”.
