Crypto currency for Tree plantation! Support One Million Trees Challenge
Hi,
My name is Alok Das and I am from Nepal. Here I have started a tree plantation and growing campaign that supports a cleaner environment, better nutrition and for sustainable peaceful living. It's called One Million Trees Challenge. We run a series of plantation events done with an association or in the name of One million trees challenge support. These are social media based long term plantation events that have multiple support aspects.

The time frame to see it’s full effects is in ten years. In about 5 years though we will be able to operate a free food charity for the people who can not afford to buy. The supply of fruit will be from a branch of every plant grown with the help of One Million Trees Challenge.
This plantation campaign has just completed its first year (July 18, 2016) with lots of excitement and great learning experiences to all of its participants.

During this period I have had a chance to plant trees with more than 400 volunteers and friends. Till now we are able to plant around 5000 plants of differents varieties of fruit, herbs, food and trees such as Japanese Tangerine, Persimmon, Avocado, pomegranate, peach, pears, soursop, rosemary, ghost chilli, orange fleshed sweet potato. These involved different communities with the great support from different organizations, schools and university. To involve more people and places into the event This year I am spreading the plantation program to more new places.
Recently I am supporting Bastola gau community where all houses was destroyed by 7.9 magnitude earthquake on 25 April 2015) to build cob houses as homestay units and community and permaculture agriculture farm. A community homestay and community cow milk farm is already done before.

Its requires a lot of preparation and visits before finalizing a plantation events. I was looking for a way to fund the preparation work. One of my awesome mentor, Ron, shared me about Steemit and encouraged me to get into it.
