LOCOS RECUERDOS - CRAZY MEMORIES
Hoy me permito recordar a un ser muy querido, a mi hermano. Estaría cumpliendo 47 años.
No voy a detallar como se nos fue, porque para mí permanece vivo en mi corazón con los buenos o malos momentos que pudimos haber tenido. Lo que sí quiero recordar es parte de esa infancia que comparto con Uds., llena de travesuras sanas y locuras cuerdas propias de los niños.
Vivíamos en Caracas, la capital de los techos rojos, específicamente en la Candelaria, zona para aquel entonces de mucha tranquilidad y familiaridad, tanto así que dueños de comercios, empleados o vecinos estaban pendientes del paso de los jóvenes del vecindario, para luego irle con el cuento a la mama de uno – “Vi a su hija pasar ahora como a las 3 pm, iba con un amigo”, bueno cosas así sucedían para aquel entonces.
En todo caso, casi que al frente del edificio donde vivíamos, había un sitio donde se reunían inmigrantes portugueses, llamado Los amigos de Santiago; sábados y domingos la cuadra se llenaba de gente donde se encontraban para beber, bailar, comer algo y conversar. Nosotros la muchachada de la cuadra, entrabamos de cuando en vez y más si había miniteca, pues lo que nos gustaba era bailar.
Durante la época de Carnaval, organizaban los concursos de disfraces, recuerdo que estando mi hermano de unos 8 años, llego a la casa todo azarado porque quería concursar, vaya que cosas, pero lo otro es que me llego con otros tres, eran cuatro para disfrazar, y obviamente con las carencias que habían en casa, de donde podíamos sacar 4 disfraces.
Pues bien, nos los inventamos!
Los amiguitos jugaban al futbol, así que a uno de ellos lo mande a ponerse el uniforme de su equipo con los zapatos de taco y el balón de futbol, listo el primero, y así pude ubicarles entre sus propias ropas diferentes disfraces con su correspondiente maquillaje. Mi hermano era el más gordito de todos ellos, no le entraba en la ropa de ninguno de ellos, así que me toco ir al escaparate de mi papa, y ubicar el disfraz para mi hermanito, a la final todos convenimos de que lo disfrazaríamos de viejito, lo mejor fue el maquillaje que le dio toda la caracterización de alguien de gran edad, tanto así que mi hermana se motivó también a disfrazarse de anciana, y así fueron en pareja.
Al llegar a los Amigos de Santiago, causaron un gran impacto por ser los más originales, claro, como no iban a ser originales si todo era de escaparates prestados, obtuvieron el 1er lugar, que por no ser miembros del sitio y la protesta aireada de una señora gorda por su Peter Pan, se llevó el 1er premio, sin embargo, recuerdo que el jurado, estaba tan encantado del disfraz de viejito que invitaron a los niños a compartir los cotillones y chucherías que estaban obsequiando.
Locos recuerdos que quería compartir con mis amigos de @steempress y de STEEMIT porque somos lo que vivimos y los años compartidos con mi hermano merecen la pena ser conocidos.

CRAZY MEMORIES
Today I allow myself to remember a very dear being, my brother. I would be celebrating 47 years.
I will not detail how it went, because for me it remains alive in my heart with the good or bad moments we could have had. What I do want to remember is part of that childhood that I share with you, full of healthy antics and crazy cords of children.
We lived in Caracas, the capital of the red roofs, specifically in the Candelaria, area by then very quiet and familiar, so much so that business owners, employees or neighbors were pending the passage of the young people of the neighborhood, then go with the story to one's mother - "I saw her daughter go by now like at 3 pm, she went with a friend", well things like that happened then.
In any case, almost in front of the building where we lived, there was a place where Portuguese immigrants met, called Los amigos de Santiago; Saturdays and Sundays the block was filled with people where they were to drink, dance, eat something and talk. We the girl from the stable, we went in from time to time and more if there was a miniteca, because what we liked was dancing.
During the Carnival season, they organized the costume contests, I remember being my brother of about 8 years old, I arrived at the house all in love because I wanted to compete, what things, but the other thing is that I came with three others, there were four disguise, and obviously with the deficiencies that were at home, where we could get 4 costumes.
Well, we invented them!
The little friends played football, so one of them sent him to wear the uniform of his team with the taco shoes and soccer ball, ready the first, and so I could locate them among their own clothes different costumes with their corresponding makeup. My brother was the fattest of them all, he did not fit into the clothes of any of them, so I had to go to my dad's showcase, and locate the costume for my little brother, at the end we all agreed that we would disguise him as old man, the best thing was the makeup that gave all the characterization of someone of great age, so much so that my sister was also motivated to disguise as an old woman, and so they went as a couple.
When they arrived at the Friends of Santiago, they caused a great impact because they were the most original, of course, as they were not going to be original if they were all borrowed showcases, they got the 1st place, because they were not members of the site and the aired protest of a fat lady for her Peter Pan, took the 1st prize, however, I remember that the jury, was so delighted of the disguise of old man that they invited the children to share the cotillones and trinkets that were giving away.
Crazy memories that I wanted to share with my friends of @steempress and STEEMIT because we are what we live and the years shared with my brother are worth being known.
I love you my beautiful brother and I miss you so much.
