LIVING LIFE AS A PROCESS

Some see a glass with orange juice.

Others see someone planting a seed, waiting for a tree to grow, its flowers to be a source and recipient of pollen from other trees of other species, to ripen a fruit, to be picked, to be stored, to be distributed to a place in which it is going to be bought by someone who is going to squeeze it to finally have an orange juice, which lasts seconds in the glass ...

The entrepreneur does not think in the short term. He sees it as a part of a long process. The entrepreneur wants to leave a "mark" on the earth, and that is not done in a single day.

"Entrepreneurs look like the products they make," said legendary marketing professor Theodore Levitt. The entrepreneur wants to change the world. When he realizes that he can not do it, at least he builds that ideal world in his own company. That's why his/her company is his/her life, it's him or herself. There is no difference between the company and the life of the entrepreneur. They are part of the same primordial entity that is that mandate printed in their DNA to leave a "mark" on earth.

Without that "mark", life has no meaning for the entrepreneur. Everything that surrounds it is secondary.

The "mark" is part of a process. No brand is built in the short or medium term. Brand is built in the long term, putting a brick every day and hoping that it does not fall. And if it falls, every entrepreneur will manage to put it back.

Because the entrepreneur lifestyle is not a photograph but a process.
