Aaron, good question when you asked, "but how many of us are truly living our lives that way?" For me, it's the difference between living a "lifestyle by design" versus a lifestyle designed by the masses or better said, "herd instinct". I also appreciated very much your question in regards to "is there family life too?". I hope the answer is yes for everyone, but sometimes, due to fears, or concerns about one's business, or career goals, family can be relegated to last position. It is unfortunate. I recently posted an instagram post on the 10 Commandments of Orthodox Christian Businessowners. I think this one applies to your post.
This is an important "commandment" that I choose to follow in creating my "lifestyle by design". Thanks for your valued insights. Best of success to you, both professionally and personally!
I believe it's all down to our respective perspectives in the end of the day.
