Sometimes is good to "Give up"...
I gave up my Medical career in Cuba 13 years ago to emigrate to US.
I was 10 months away to become a General Doctor!
At that time I was looking for a "better life for my family"
Hey, that was the biggest decision of my life!
Then in US, after 3 years in college working during the day as nurse and studying at night for my RN license I gave up (again) to work from home with my husband...
At that time I was looking for "Time Freedom" ⏱
So, when I look back and connect the dots of my life (like Steve Jobs said), there is no freaking way I'm where I'm right now, if I hadn't given up on those career dreams!
If I go back in time, I would do it all over again...
That's why sometimes you have to give up some dreams to be aligned with your new dreams and your new purpose...
My advice...Be willing to change and adapt!
I'm living proof that It's good to give up (sometimes)

Absolutely agree with you : "My advice...Be willing to change and adapt!"
Yes, for sure!
This is an amazing message! I think a lot of people have a difficult time staying positive when life throws them a curve ball. But there are always better things to be found for those who are willing to take the risk. I had a neighbor growing up who was a doctor in Cuba. She also immigrated with her family to the US. Her degree meant nothing in the US however. So she had to start from scratch all over again. Life never really works out the way we plan it when we're young.
~Wishing you the best in the future :) .
Thank you. I really appreciate your words.
Great message! Pursue your dreams against all obstacles, ...until they stop being your dreams.
Exactly...And being flexible enough to adjust to new outcomes too!
