It fucking pisses me off you didn't basically get a red carpet treatment to come to steemit. It seems absolutely bizarre to me that you had to take so long to get on the platform. ANd its disconcerting the talk of shooting someone some SBD to speed up the process was even a discussion.
With that said, once you get moving on the steemit platform it will very likely be more profitable than other places.
If the average user can get an upvote worth roughly 10 cents then it would only take 1000 fans on the platform to begin pulling in easily hundreds of dollars a day. Mid tier plankton can do 10 100% upvotes a day.
That would be EXTREMELY difficult for any outsider to silence anyone here. Nobody would have the authority to do it and your upvotes would be coming in from a lot of users rather than a few whales and dolphins. You would also be making fucking bank.
It will take awhile for this to happen as to get a 10 cent upvote I think takes at least a few hundred dollars. So for now a big chunk of your money will likely come from whales and dolphins.
