I just posted about the scrubbing that the web is undergoing presently. We need a blockchain archival solution NOW. Centralized site are vulnerable. Decentralized, encrypted, public access blockchain archive is what we need to keep the pages and posts that prove criminal and corrupt conspiracies are being, and going to be much more, very soon, executed.
It's a matter of self-defense that they're scrubbing the web now, and that means if we can prevent them from succeeding at keeping the proof out of our hands we can stop the corruption. They know it.
I wish I knew how to code, or could tap anyone I knew to code up a blockchain archival site. Can you think of anyone that might be able to run with that ball?
that is sadly one of our shortcomings lol but now that we have teamed up with dash we are starting to make some connections in that space
I'm pretty sure anyone that came up with a decentralized archive right now would slam it out of the park.
in theory isnt that what steemit is suppose to be?
Steemit is to a limited extent, but it wasn't created with the intention of providing a repository of general information that might be purged from the web, rather of the posts of it's members.

I am not surprised, TBQH. There is an economic system that creates a filter through which new technologies are funded and promoted, or fail to be funded, and are repressed.
This is not an idea which would benefit the economic system which acts as a gatekeeper for technological development.
