Disney animation films have been a well-established force in the genre for many decades.

But while Disney films are among the most critically acclaimed films of all time, there are movies produced by Warner Bros. or Studio Ghibli (Hayao Miyazaki's company) that sometimes surpass them in some feature films that belong to the big company.

To know which are the animated films that have received more praise from critics, this article has been based on the data collected by Rotten Tomatoes for its ranking of the best animated films in the history of cinema.

The website classified the films according to a critical weighted rating that reflects the variation in the number of reviews that each film received.
