Reboot of a Legacy
Good news for toy fans, and also for those who miss the 90s! 2 weeks ago, the Hassenfeld Brothers Toy Company adquired the rights to one of the most iconic and beloved series of the 90’s; The Power Rangers
It’s been almost 25 years since the release of the original Mighty Morphing Series, and the franchise hasn’t stop ever since then, adapting the currently running japanese Super Sentai series into it’s power rangers version every year.
Saban Entretaiment, the Company responsible for the creation of the Power Rangers series, and also other Tokusatsu adaptations such as Masked Rider, invented a new form of story telling by using the action footage of the japanese shows and shooting new content in order to mix them and create a whole new multiverse

Hasbro didn’t just buy the rights to make toys, they already had those after Saban’s deal with Bandai had culminated 2 years ago, they bought the whole megacombo, and, if you just go back a few years ago you will remember what happened last time Hasbro made a series revival
After the good reception the first Power Rangers Reboot movie had, there is no doubt that Hasbro will do its utmost effort to make Power Rangers not only relevant again for the general public, but a masive potential blockbuster machine.

Interesting article. It just goes to show what good investments can do. Not all reboots are terrible and can be made great. With new technology comes new advances in animation as well as bigger budgets which can produce better content! Great post!

Exactly.....look at the Star Trek reboots! Those were great, in my opinion!
