Mandela effect, does it relly exist parallel worlds?
A few days ago I was on the internet and I was looking for different stuff, one that caught my attention was the Mandela Effect. The Mandela Effect refers to a phenomenon in which a large number of people share false memories of past events, referred to as confabulation in psychiatry. Some have speculated that the memories are caused by parallel universes spilling into our own, while others explain the phenomenon as a failure of collective memory.
I found it very interesting so I documented a bit.
About mandela many people remember that he died in 1980 in jail, but the truth is that he died in 2013.
Blogger Fiona Broome coined the term "Mandela effect" to describe a collective false memory she discovered at the Dragon Con convention. Simplified, is a phenomenon where a large number of people remember something that didn't actually happen.
In 2010, since this phenomenon has arisen, examples of this kind have grown, where people have other memories than others.
Here are some examples:
Mona Lisa's "Smile"
Was Mona Lisa smiling in Da Vinci's famous painting? Some people say yes, and some people say no.
My toughts about the painting were that she didn't smile in it. People believe the painting has changed over the years and at first she did not smile.
The Monopoly Man Never Had A Monocle
Everyone knows that Monopoly Man; but the question is : has he ever had a monocle or didn't he?
The Controversial KitKat Bar
Many people remember the packaging with the dash. But which one was? KitKat or Kit-Kat?
My personal example of this is that every day me and a good friend walked past a sign in the parking lot that was blue, but we always notice together that it is red.
And there are many other examples, these are just a few of them. Let me now what do you think about Mandela Effect and what kind of examples do you experienced ^^ If you like my post please give me a upvote and follow me for more ^^
Have a good day ^_^
I dont know where I land on the "its completely true" to "its all shenanigans" meter when it comes to the Mandela effect. But I can tell you it is pretty interesting and I can watch youtube video after youtube video showing examples of it. I do think our universe is pretty much a mystery to all of us but then again so is most of our mind and the human experience so who knows. Either way it is super fun and freaky to think about and experience.
For me it would be: Fruit Loops/Froot Loops, Rubix Cube/Rubiks Cube and Sex And the city/Sex In the city.
This is so wierd. I read this and had shivers :)) very good post and great writing :)
Yeah ,it sounds a bit weird
The Mandela effect is real or our brain got reprogram whit bad data
Me too,I find this subject very interesting .It might be a posibility of what you said

Thanks for sharing and following you now
Thank you very much ^^ I'm following you to ^^
wellcome, nice to meet you :)
Nice to meet you too ^_^ Have a great week-end :)
If you think Mandela effect is real, you should research the work of Elizabeth Loftus.
If you think it is false, try thinking about the discovery of Double-slit particle interference in combination with particle discovery itself... like the discovery of the mass of the Higgs.
@luke490 damn
I recall reading about this somewhere previously. Very good and
