Why Do Artistes Commit Suicide?

Why should an artiste who spent her entire life creating art that reflects happiness and peace end up committing suicide?
The note she left behind explains that all the joy that made her lyrics weren't genuine.

................MY THOUGHT.......
I thought we were supposed to be true to ourselves.
Better still, I believe the problem is that:
WE ALREADY KNOW WHAT WE SHOULD BE, BEFORE WE STEP INTO LIFE.
WE HAVE BUILT STANDARDS OF REALITIES,
SO WHEN OUR LIVES DON'T FIT INTO THOSE STANDARDS...WE SWITCH TO THE NEXT AVAILABLE STANDARD.

Why should a broken man write wholesome songs?
I think because he feels being broken isn't a thing to feel.
That's it! We never consider the fact that the pains don't go away when we conceal them.
We never consider the fact that being human isn't being perfect.
We never consider the fact that our kind of persons would live and die 'unheard of'.
We never consider that telling our true stories might bring helpers our way.
