Chernobyl: Elephant Foot
This particular story is about a fungus nicknamed "Elephant Foot" due to the magnitude of radiation that emanates that makes it impossible to be even meters away from this fact the city of Chernobyl was uninhabited thanks to this phenomenon, this happened after the explosion of Chernobyl
if you can see the white lines that appear below the photo, these are due to the innumerable amount of radiation in this area, these recruited men from all over the Soviet Union who were sent to help in disaster relief by cleaning the waste initials and radioactive material. They had inadequate protection equipment and none knew the real danger.
The history of this photo is peculiar because it shows the only man who came to photograph it and then after hours of dying of radiation they say that the radiation is so lethal that they have sent intelligent machines and robots which have been able to photograph that mushroom but after One day they stop working like the one who managed to get this picture.
