Movie Park Germany posts teaser about new rides

The Movie Park Germany has uploaded a teaser as a picture on its own Facebook page, on which a partly built up, new ride can be seen. Apparently something new is being built in the "Adventure Bay" area of the park. They want to publish more about it soon, also on Facebook. I would say, we will stay on it.

Indoor play area coming to Geiselwind

The Freizeitland Geiselwind reports this week with novelties for the coming season again. As usual on their own Facebook page. However, this time the surprise really is quite a bit bigger, because according to the announcement, the new farm theme area gets a big indoor playground with an aquarium theme. So even the last children's eyes should really shine brightly now. Very nice expansion, I’ll have to say that.

By the way, the opening days in the calendar have been revised again. The park has now added more opening days for the early and late season time.

Anka Park closed again

According to Turkish media, Anka Park is closed again. Apparently, the operator could not reliably pay either electricity costs or salaries. However, there are also parallel reports that a new investor has already paid large parts of the missing amount of money and that the park is to be reopened sometime in the future. I will try to follow this up, but it is quite difficult to find reliable sources in this area.

RES Rides shows new concept

On the official YouTube channel of Ride Engineers Switzerland a video with a new flat ride concept has been published. The animation shows a carousel called "Super Swing" which has two passenger carriers with 6 seats each. The ride looks like they took a S&S Giant Swing and reduced it in size and added an additional axle to the swinging arms. The result is an interesting mixture of Ferris wheel and Giant Swings. I am curious to see which park will add something like this to its portfolio first.
