Time traveler revealed that England could win the 2018 World Cup Russia
In an exclusive interview with Daily Star Online, Alexander Smith revealed that England fans should be optimistic before the World Cup in Russia.
The team's latest success came more than 50 years ago when Geoff Hurst hit a hat-trick at Wembley in an emphatic 4-2 victory over West Germany.
However, the Three Lions have not been able to replicate that success, falling to 16th place in the FIFA world rankings.
But this year the fans may have something to celebrate, as Smith dropped a big clue about the team's hopes ahead of Russia.
"I'm not sure if England will win the World Cup, because I did not see anything about sports in the future, but once again I saw a very limited part. It is very possible that football still exists in 2118 and it is very possible that England will win the World Cup again, "said Smith.
Smith claims to have worked with the CIA during a time-travel experiment. Now that he returned to the period of time that corresponds to him, he has decided to reveal the secrets of what he witnessed.
