Is seriously? Even in the middle of 2018 there are still people who are wondering if a mobile device is a necessity or a luxury?

The truth may be in the best position to ramble on this, because like every good judge I have two points of view and not just one.

A little more than a year after damaging my mobile phone, I borrowed my daughter's, and well, the underworld made theirs; but this is not the point, the interesting thing is that since then I have walked with a mobile old man, sms calls and for a short period of time a very limited WhatsApp, (like 2 months hard).

At this time I did not want to be banal and say that I was dying for technology, I even think I could rest a bit since my use of mobile was intense, and for almost a year I had not needed this device again, I know that In my country cell phones are almost unattainable, however this was not my main excuse for not having it, rather it was, for me to make an effort if I do not need it.

At this time it was not the barbarians who say it's a luxury, but it was not a lost love, it was like half of a scale.

However, I discovered that every experiment if it is not well performed gives erroneous results, and that is that one of my samples was infected.

When I lacked internet in my day job I started to feel that the need was returning to the ring. Clear! How would I feel a need for a mobile device if at 4:40 am when I wake up I turn on the home computer until I leave and arrive at work and I am all hours (until lunch) with a machine in front, and I just leave work to turn on the house again. My sample was corrupt, because I still had access to everything I needed.

Now, it has been two months since I've been working on stolen cables and connectors that the national telephone company does not have to replace, according to the technician who has come several times.

I've seen myself calling friends and family to check my accounts, I lost job opportunities for not answering an email on time, and as a standard Venezuelan these days lost for ten or eleven hours contact with my friends and family that now They reside abroad.

Something new came to my life, in this moment of disconnection, "Steemit" and now I really feel that I'm missing a lot, but when you count, those devices that criticize so much serve us as a camera, as a map, as banks, as purses, to inform us, to leave a doubt, to find an address, not to feel alone, and among many other things to communicate with loved ones.

If you can live without a Smartphone, only that is something that takes away your advantages, that there is no doubt, the fact of not accessing these devices so easily can not be taken as nonsense, in this age of globalization, automation and technology should be taken as a point in citizens' quality of life statistics.
