Digital Art (art)
Hello Steemians!
In this opportunity I come to show you a bit of "Digital Art", in my career I saw this subject, and I found it indispensable and very important, as you know I study "Plastic Arts" that derives in painting, drawing, sculpture and engraving. But in my university they give a subject called "Digital Art" and that is that as we are Visual Artists, we must learn or become familiar with the new technologies as well. Because we do not know when we need them.
Digital art is a discipline of the plastic arts that includes works in which digital elements are used, both in the production process and in its exhibition. The supports of this type of style are digital.
Previously, some artists who managed to skip disciplinary reluctance - those who said, first: "art and technology are not compatible" and then, "that's graphic design" - were interested in these new available resources: sound, color, ability to storage and data processing, and authoring software.
Digital art refers to all forms of virtual art or network art. We also call it interactive digital art, cyberart or net art.
However, the digital art had its repercussion, since the defenders of "traditional art" are strengthened in the idea that an artistic piece is the fruit of a personal creation ... and they refused to replace the canvas with an electronic screen . On the other hand those of "digital art" brandish their artillery of arguments, postulating that, in the not too distant future, art will be contemplated on an electronic screen.
It should be clarified that the computer, the software and the technological tools of multimedia and Internet are only mediators as is any technological object ... including brushes and oils.
After giving a brief paper about digital art, I would like to show you a bit of Digital Art that I achieved when I saw this subject..
This image i achieved through a photograph of one of my sculptures in cement.
