My Heroines and anonymous heroes.

Probably, each and every one of us, we have met with people who suffer or who are in some way related to the unpredictable cancer disease. Many of these patients are mostly people unknown to us. Others, unfortunately, can be part of our close circle of friends or the people we interact with on a day-to-day basis. In the worst of scenarios, the disease, may be attacking one of our dearest family. This situation represents a sudden change in our life routines and a new journey through a path full of uncertainties. However, something that denotes among these human beings, to whom life has played them this bad past, is the courage, integrity and faith without limits with which they face their situation.

Too many, after innumerable and diverse battles, have lost their particular wars, with a gallardo worthy of the film The Last Samurai. We also take off their hat before them and they, who without sophisticated weapons, fighting in unknown fields, and without having the necessary monetary resources have given a hard fight, which in itself is a moral reinforcement for the warriors of today.

No less important of them, in spite of being exhausted, maintain a cheerful spirit, far from feelings of defeats. On many occasions more optimistic than many of us face a simple flu. They know that the enemy is strong, that it has not presented itself to them easy, that it has been rude the confrontation. Today perhaps, in the midst of their pains, and after having given the all for the whole, they await without resentment the pass to another plane.

Many of them maintain at this very moment a ferocious fight against the enemy that has dared to threaten their lives. Not in vain, they have decided to confront the invader, denying him any possibility of chewing them their freedom of life, their inner peace and the future they had been looking at for some time. They are hopeful in the appearance of a sophisticated and modern weapon that will put to the fret with the pretensions of perpetuation of the scourge.

All this unique group has contributed and continues to contribute a very significant positive energy load, helping many of us to have a greater and better understanding and perspective of life. Where every second counts to act and build a better world. That's why they have become my heroines and anonymous heroes.
