Basic history of electrical engineering industry
Electrical engineering industry is about 150 years old from the beginning of this industry great revolution started in the modern engineering industry.
Invention of electric Rotary generator motor have done tremendous modernization in industrial field constant improvement in design and construction of these two machines enhanced the modernization and improvement in the industrial processes.
There are two important phenomenon in Electrical Engineering:
- Electromagnetism and
- Electromagnetic Induction.
The discovery of Electromagnetism by Orsted in 1820 and Electromagnetic induction by Faraday in 1822

Your content is good.... But i think there is something which could add here.... that is Nikola Tesla.... who is the inventor of AC current... Faraday invented DC current. But Faraday didn't have any idea of AC current. When Nikola Tesla told Faraday about AC current then Faraday laughed loudly and told him that it is impossible... But Tesla proved it. Invented Generated AC current.
BY DC current most of machine could not start up or operate. besides we need to established power house in every 2 km distance.... But AC current can spread a long distance with out decreasing voltage. It reduced our expenditure....
I'm telling this because basic history of electrical engineering is electric... and history of electric is Faraday and Tesla....
