Planning and Designing Public Hospitals

On this content I am writing about architecture design studio with hotel building planning project.

Before that I want to explain a little understanding of public hospitals..
The hospital is a health care institution that provides a complete personal health services that provide inpatient, outpatient and emergency care.

The hospital also performs several important types of services, as :

• Medical services
• Medical support services
• Care services
• Rehabilitation services
• Prevention and improvement of health

And hospitals as well as places of medical education and or training and medical, as a place of research and development of science and technology in health, as well as to avoid the risks and health problems as intended, so that the need for health care of hospital environment in accordance with the health requirements.

Determine Zoning of The Building

In the architectural design of many things that have to be analyzed in the planning of a building, for example in terms of climate, sun orientation, wind orientation and also determine the zoning of buildings, which is useful for adjusting to the state of the land where the building will be built a public hospital.-

Zoning is the determination of the zones, this stage is very important in starting the design of the mass block / building. Hospital design criteria needed for the building and the environment as a (functional) and image (aesthetic concepts, expression) able to achieve the targets that have been agreed. Design criteria are general considerations including standards that underlie the process of planning and design of the hospital.

The following criteria were used, among others:

• Meet Health Building Standards
• Meet the requirements of technical standards of hospital buildings Based on existing space standards
• Meet the requirements of hospital building guidelines

Conclusion

Considerations regarding safety and comfort of building strategies need to be considered since the beginning of the planning and design of the hospital. Because the problems caused to the building can affect the environment and vice versa. In this modern era, issues of security and comfort facing humans began to vary. The problems arising from natural influences ; such as earthquakes, weather, climate and more.

For that all aspects of building regulations relating to security, comfort of hospital buildings should be planned as well as possible.
