How The Transportation System in Tall Buildings

This time I want to discuss about the transportation within the building, which is used on buildings that are more than four floors.
A large or tall buildings require a conveyance or transport to provide a comfort in their activities in the building. The transport equipment has the properties as a means of transport in the form of:
Vertical, in the form of elevators
Elevators called lifts are trains to transport people or goods in a high building Lifts can be installed for high-rise buildings.Horizontal, a conveyor
Conveyor is a means of transport for persons or goods in horizontal direction. Installed in a state of flat or angled at certain degrees <10o. Distance range of this tool depends on the needs of the width for two people.
- Sloping, a Escalator
Escalators one conveyance similar to conveyor transportation means just more emphasis for the transport of persons on the bottom floor with sloping direction toward the floor above. Thus the installation is skewed >10o and with a certain slope in accordance with the standard of comparison between flat and a height of 30 to 35 degrees. And for a long escalator width tailored to the needs of one person approximately 60 cm and for two people of approximately 100-120 cm.
Explanation of Elevators
Elevators called lifts are trains to transport people or goods in a high building Lifts can be installed for high-rise buildings. Lifts can be installed for buildings of more than 4 stories high, because of the ability of people to ride down to each floor or necessities in the building can only be done up to 4 floors.
Elevator can be divided according to its function:
- Passenger elevators, used to transport human beings.
- Fright elevators, used for transporting goods.
- Elevator for food
- Elevator for fire extinguisher.
The elevators were installed in buildings because of a general nature, so it should be based on the regulation of local regulations, Department of Safety and the Fire Department.
To determine the design criteria passenger lift, need to be considered in terms of type and function of the building, the number of floors, each floor area, and the interval. In addition it needs to be distinguished from the capacity (car/kg), the amount of the charge, and speed, as the following example:

How To Put Elevator In Building Design
Elevator as a liaison between the basement and the upper chamber, is a place that should be easily reached from the space around. Therefore, the placement of this elevator should be appropriate so that it can serve room under the above, easily visible, accessible, and does not interfere in terms of architecture.
There are several systems for laying elevator that more than one in one building. Elevators can be mounted side by side or face to face, but if installed side by side more than 3 lifts, should be mounted face to face. If mounted face to face will arise a problem regarding the distance, but it can be arranged according to the function and usefulness of the building.
Conclusion
Transport equipment in the building is a very useful tool to humans to facilitate their activities, especially the multi storey building. For the usage of the building of transportation, such as elevators, used in buildings over 4 floors. So it concerns human activities in terms of comfort and safety, then in transportation planning in the building must be designed either as good as possible and meet the requirements specified in terms of human security.
