The God who sanctifies it
The history of the Ka'ba
Kaaba or other language cube that is traced from Al-Ka'bah Al-Musyarrafah (holy Ka'bah) is a building that is in the middle of the most sacred mosque for the ummah of Islam. Ka'ba is a direction for praying for Muslims around the world while the sacred buildings surrounding it are called the Grand Mosque.
The name of the Ka'ba itself is written in the holy book of Al-Quran and Al-hadith with various titles such as Bait Al-Ateeq, Bait Al-Haram and so on, the Temple itself has the meaning of House as in Hebrew "Beit", with home. Literally Ka'ba itself comes from Arabic meaning "cube".

The Ka'ba is also commonly referred to as Bayt Al-Atiq (Arabic: Old House) an old building renovated during the time of Prophet Abraham and his son Prophet Ismael after Prophet Ismael settled in Mecca by God order. According to the holy book Al-quran Ka'ba existed when Prophet Abraham placed his family Siti Hagar and Prophet Ismael to settle in the Ka'ba area written proof that there is Al-Quran (14:37).
The next record which we can find next to the Qur'an is Al-hadith, where it is mentioned that when the Prophet Muhammad was appointed Prophet until he moved to the city of Medina, the Ka'ba changed the function previously used as a monotheistic temple Worship of idolaters (Polytheism) In which placed about 360 statues / idols embodied the gods, Until re-cleaned when the Islamic era back in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, Prophet Moses and Prophet Abraham.

Ka'ba of the Past
According to the accounts of the old people, the construction of the Ka'ba has been done since the first Prophet Adam as the first man (Al-Bayhaqi), although there is no written evidence that explains the initial truth of the Ka'ba construction but the majority we believe in the truth of the narrative.
The Ka'ba previously had two doors and was situated above the ground, a change to the current condition of the Ka'ba occurred when the Prophet Muhammad was 30 years old, renovation occurs due to floods.
Considering the lack of cost then this building is only made one door as well as Hijr Ismail which eventually not included in the building of the Ka'ba, Hijr Ismail's marking is done with a semicircle on the side of Ka'ba. The height of the doors of the Ka'ba was originally solely for the glorification of the highly esteemed Quraysh and only the tribe Quraysh could enter the Ka'ba.

In the reign of Abdullah bin Zubair, the Ka'ba was rebuilt according to the Prophet Muhammad's narrative which is on the foundation built by Prophet Ibraham. Then the Ka'ba had experienced a fire when the war with Abdul Malik bin Marwan (ruler of Sham) due to bullet shelling Syam forces, After Abdul Malik bin Marwan became Caliph he also renovated the Ka'ba based on the time of Prophet Muhammad and did not originate in the foundation of Prophet Abraham.
When the caliphate of the Abbasids, sultan Harun Al-Rashid also had planned the renovation of the Ka'ba in accordance with the Foundation of Prophet Ibraham, but was immediately prevented by a cleric, Imam Malik. Imam Malik was worried about the show of strength of the caliphs to continue renovating the Ka'ba in each different government so feared Ka'ba lost his identity as the initial intention of development.
Building Ka'ba
Ka'ba is built using large stones derived from the surrounding mountains arranged in such a way that it forms a cube so as to resemble the shape of the building in the dry Tropical area, on each wall of the Ka'ba there are different names according to the direction where the direction of the wall Facing.
- North side of the Rukun Iraqi (Iraq)
- West side of Rukun Syam (Syria)
- South side of Rukun Yemen (Yemen)
- East of Rukun Hajar Aswad (Hajar Aswad Stone)
The Ka'ba of the Present
Now the Ka'ba is in the area of authority of the Kingdom Government of Saudi Arabia, so automatically the Saudi Arabian government is entitled to maintain and organize all activities associated with the Ka'ba as do the pilgrimage and other routine care. Kiswah or cover of the Ka'ba also has its own historical value that began when the tribe Jurhum until the time of Prophet Muhammad, he once covered it with white, green and red colored fabric. Some caliphs also had to change the color of the kiswa in accordance with the caliph period at that time, until finally the Abbasid dynasty decided the black color to end the replacement of the colors of the kiswah.

Inside the Ka'ba there are three main columns of the roof buffer and there are lanterns hanging between the columns as well as a small table between the columns. There is also a memorial to the rulers who have renovated the Ka'ba hanging on the wall, at the top of the wall there is a green cloth embroidered with verses of the Al-quran as well as on the right side wall there is a gold door called the door of Bab-Attaubah complete with stairs to go up of the Ka'ba.
Ka'ba and knowledge
My brother, with the knowledge that I have described above then there is a question that hinders me so I should return to ask all my friends, If indeed the Ka'ba was built by the first man (Prophet Adam), Then how did he bring along the arrangement of stones so large with so neat that it has a shape like this we often see?. If not the first man to do it then say Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismael who did so what technology they use during the reign of King Namrud (2295 BC)? Perhaps friends have the latest evidence of the techniques used at the time because as we know with the Pyramids themselves also existed at that time (if the Ka'bah was built in the 2nd century BC). Would not this be interesting to learn especially the engineers and those interested in history and science?. I as an architect think this is the beginning of a civilization that is slowly forgotten.
I think this is what I can tell my friends, hopefully in the future we can develop and disseminate knowledge to every human in every corner of the world, I thank the friends who have visited my blog, I admit there are many writings that I do not perfect.
Thank you also to all my friends #Aceh steemit community who continue to support me.
