California Engagement Session

Meet Danyelle and Cameron to be married this July! Danyelle and I are from the same hometown and we met by way of photography-she is a photographer herself! It's such an honor to be asked to photograph another photographer's wedding...it is also somewhat terrifying!

We headed to the California coast for their session. The amazing thing about California is that you only have to drive a few hours in any direction to get beach, mountains or desert. In that way, it's really a photographer's dream. I had seen photos of the popular cypress tree tunnel before and really wanted to try it myself. While it looks like a whimsical fairy tale road, it's actually the driveway to a radio station!

I had a great time with Danyelle and Cameron and we all loosened up. Turns out Danyelle was just as nervous to be on the other side of the camera. But before long we were all barefoot and Cameron was whispering "pudding" in his sexiest voice and we were all laughing! I was playing my role of third wheel as usual, haha.
