Asher, again what a great job you are doing and it is awesome to start to see the attention this is getting from the "big boys" like @fulltimegeek @beanz @anomadsoul @aggroed through their upvotes... Not to mention the wonderful support you are also getting from @paulag and @carlgnash by directly sponsoring this. I also hope that @krnel read your comment and finds a way to support you too. This concept of focusing on engagers and content curators to build a community is something that you are leading the way on and my hope that it continues to build traction.
On the leagues themselves of course I want to congratulate @glenalbrethsen for a simply amazing job... Glen you are hands down the best when it comes to really getting involved. I love that you always respond thoughtfully. I also see that @simplymike is making her presence felt too... I can only imagine the battles that will be when she gets 100% healthy. ;)
I see many other familiar names and lots of newbies that are making great progress too... Congrats again to @leeart @mirrors @johndoer123 for not only really getting involved, but also for getting more delegation from Asher. You 3 definitely deserve it and I appreciate the fact that you are making an impact already in such a short time! (thanks to you too Asher, this is really cool of you to do)
I also want to say thanks to the ABC's of Curation for the work on @newbieresteemday... Its nice to see you in the top and happy to know all the great work you've done! It should make @coolguy123 @doomsdaychassis @simplymike happy to know that you are in the top 10 again! Very cool and wonderful job :)

I'm not sure how much involved I am. I'm just trying to get out there as far as I can and see what I find to comment and curate on. And in doing so, I came across some good stuff. It's there. It just needs to be dug up.
You, @abh12345, @lynncoyle1, @beeyou, and whoever else there might be at @newbieresteemday, plus everything else anyone else is trying to turn into successful initiatives are the ones doing all the heavy lifting.

First of all, yes, looking at the progress of @newbieresteemday makes anyone happy who is supporting it directly or indirectly.
Regarding the witness account @steemcommunity, I think I misunderstood and voted for @abh12345 and @paulag individually instead of voting for @steemcommunity. I will go and do that now. Thanks for the reminder :)

hey @coolguy123... Yes I have been so busy that I have been lacking on the big comments... I actually don't like not having time to make the big comments.. I like having great comments with you (and others like you) where there is real dialogue and meaningful conversation. I have been figuring out how to best help here on steemit and frankly the best way in my opinion is to get "community oriented" witnesses like @steemcommunity to get selected by as many as possible.
You asked me one time "is there anything I can do"... that led to a sensational platform called @newbieresteemday led by @mudcat36. I think now the time is for us to focus on getting people like @abh12345 and @paulag going strong as a witness so that we have a voice, but even more importantly so that we can put a little pressure on the other witnesses too. The community is only as strong as the people that are running it, and without people that care about newbies and minnows, I'm afraid we can't build the community that sustain itself in the long run.
So if you want to help me again, I would be honored to work with you in helping to get others to support these "community-minded" witnesses!

I think that is an important point and just hope that works and yes, many like me have faith in @paulag and @abh12345 that they will continue their helping to minnows and others who are in need as part of @steemcommunity witness.
Definitely I will make a not of it and try as much as possible to spread the news and gather more support. May be I can write a blog on this (I guess there might be many already on this, but to make it reachable to my 2000+ followers, I can write one).

I've been really blessed to have the support of some 'big-boys' and girls recently, really fortunate of me and I'm very grateful!

:) ... Happy to spread the word and get some "big-boys' and girls paying attention to you and @paulag (and now @danielsaori too)... We need people making the rules that are interested in being "bothered" to deal with the newbies and minnows... If the current witnesses don't want to focus on building out communities, then I say we need new witnesses.
I don't mean to sound negative, but we have a long way to go before we will have influence - but as long as we are trying to do our best for the place then I think it's worth taking this long journey. Thanks again!
Of course Asher, I agree :) .. That is all we can ever do, try our best and hope for the best.
I have no illusions that it will be easy for you and @paulag to get influence, but I have a hunch you both have more influence than you think. I have watched you carry yourself for many months now, and I like that you are humble (which I admire very much). And while you are on a long journey, I think you have many more people rowing the boat than you know! ;)
