I believe there's a problem of dimension as well... This is a very small country, there are no huge losses in energy transportation and all. And of course there's only one government for the whole country... So environmental politics are easier to apply. We have a long way ahead as well.

We definitely need to keep away from nuclear energy. There's a "masking" effect regarding nuclear energy production as we can see in France: the "greenest" country in CO2 emissions, but dirty in everything else implied. Not to mention the danger of nuclear energy production.

What's happening now is that we are assuming risks from Spain's nuclear reactors. The EU does nothing and no one here seems to care about it not to bother "nuestros hermanos"... I may write a post about that, soon
