RE: My Plan to #EndTheFed Federal Reserve Financial Enslavement

in #endthefed7 years ago

Actually if you believe it or not, ending the FED now would actually be worse than keeping it.

Most of the problems don't come out of the fed, it's the entire financial system with the endless money/debt supply, that is the problem.

And without a central bank, you can't even keep track of it.

First you need a fixed supply monetary system, and maybe after that you can think of it. But right now, it would be a very stupid idea.

Sort:

The fed is behind the endless amounts of money and debt, are they not?

I say end the fed and let the government burn.

That is a pretty immature response. You can't remove government instantly, it would cause more problems than it does while it exists.

What you need to do is to deconstruct it slowly, bureaucracy after bureaucracy, while in the meantime replacing all bureaucracies with free market solutions.

So that if a lot of people now rely on govt healthcare they wont die after it goes away. You need to built up the free market infrastructure first, and then the govt program will become obsolete anyway, and it can be safely removed.

The same thing with the fed. First need need to establish a transparent monetary system through cryptocurrencies, and only after that the banking system can be reformed.

Ending the fed now would only result in a global financial depression, and nobody wants that.

If you read my plan, you would see we agree on that statement.

I understand what you are saying but with the government most people don't want to fix these problems. The comfort that it gives them offers no incentive for them to be concerned. With a depression people will be wanting to fix things. Yes, having everything set up to switch is the preferable way to go about this but if we can light a fire under everyone's ass then it will still be built. If I saw willingness to change based on evidence in most people I would agree with you completely but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I hope you are not serious, the last collapse gave us the Nazis, which morphed into the EU, and now we are double fucked.

You have to understand that humans have a very poor ability to solve problems utterly. Humans only prolong, hide, play down, or double down on problems, but rarely solve them.

Has any fundamental problem that humans face have been resolved yet? Definitely not, and a great depression in the nuclear age is certainly going to lead towards the exctinction of the species.

The best we can do is to think, and use philosophy before acting, that way at least we have some change of surviving. But the nuclear age combined with totalitarianism is not good at all.

I'm being pretty serious. I'm pretty pessimistic lately, but I don't think the rise of the nazis is the same as what would happen now. I know what you are saying is right, it would be better to do it how you are saying. But that's if after we build this new system we can convince people to care. Who's to say they will? We could build it and they could say fuck off we like governments.

Just to be clear though, I'm not saying I want to overthrow the governments, but if the White House burned down I wouldn't be upset.

Actually they are not. The Fed balance sheet is nothing compared to the "virtual" derivatives that come out of private investment banks, like Wallstreet, China, etc...

Most of the debt is not created by central banks. Sure without CB the government would go bankrupt, but again, sudden changes like that are not beneficial for anybody.

What needs to be done is to create the infrastructure first, necessary to replace the corrupt institutions, and then, and only then replace them.

@profitgenerator Actually there is a simple solution if you believe a central bank is better, a PUBLIC central bank with employees on a fixed salary and interest rates can go into infrastructure! This could even end the need for the IRS but I wouldn't hold my breath for a politician to do that! Since that would involve a politician to want the best for the people he/she is supposed to represent and not their own selfish greed (good luck finding one of those)

True. But a public CB is not in the interet of any political establishment. A public government is not a government anymore. The governance part includes secrecy.
