A Day Turned History:Remembrance Day for the End SARS Victims🌹

"Justice crys out as the future of tommorow

They offered a lifetime sacrifice that ll never be forgotten

Will NEVER be forgotten"

It is exactly a year today, the endsars protest happened.
A day in every Nigerian's life that justice went hiding and refused to surface.A day the Nigerian government selfishly took down its citizens.A day that saw red liquid spilled like a flowing river.A day that will never be forgotten!

As of this time last year,the Nigerian youths matched out in unison to peacefully protest against the ill-treatment of the SARS(special anti-robbery squad).The protest which started out as a result of youths being harrassed and treated unlawfully,even killed without reasons resulted to the reason for the protest.

But what they thought would be a plea and cry for help turned out to be a nightmare that they couldn't escape.Lives were lost! Tomorrow was stolen,the future was stolen.Innocent lives were wasted.All for the fight for justice.But the wings that were made to cover the children lost its ability and exposed its children to preys.The Nigerian government betrayed it citizens.They became deaf and blind instead and ordered for the unlawful execution of these youths, they took down lives.Lives that only seeked for freedom!!,for protection!!,for life!!for justice!!!
They took them out with just a single call, that same call that would have led to a peaceful Nigeria if only they had applied wisdom.

Today,as we remember and mark this day
We say, the sacrifices of this day will never be forgotten and the heroes that made this sacrifices will forever remain in our hearts.For the labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain✊
